Congress has mandated that February 17, 2009 will be the last day for full-power television stations to broadcast in analog. After that, “rabbit ear” televisions will require a digital-to-analog converter box to watch over-the-air digital broadcasts.
To help with the transition, every U.S. household is eligible to receive up to two coupons, worth $40 each, toward the purchase of eligible digital-to-analog converter boxes.

August 1, 2008, 2:57 am MTV & Fox to remake Rocky Horror
If I make the picket signs, can we march on MTV studios?
I’ve just heard the Earth-shattering news. The headline from Variety, July 23rd:
Lou Adler, who produced the original cult classic has joined forces with Fox Studios for the remake. Variety magazine stated that the film will “use the original screenplay by Jim Sharman and Richard O’Brien but may also include music not featured in the original.”
To fans of the original 1979 film, I don’t have to say a word to express how completely wrong this production would be. To those reading this post who have not seen the classic, I can sum up my position in seven words: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
The same argument is supported at GettheBigPicture.net, which went on to say that “it’s a phenomenon completely unto itself, an event unlike any other in its original version.”
With that debate aside, another grand question remains: who would you elect to be the new Dr. Frankenfurter?
