City Newspaper did a two page spread on the Business Alliance’s Sandy Parker in which she advocated for firing state workers and expressed her opposition to universal health care. You gotta love Sandy Parker, Rochester’s own Dick Cheney.

They printed my response here

I am always amused by how Parker is taken seriously by the media when she talks about “growing the upstate economy.” Her chamber of commerce double talk reminds me of the movie Thank You for Smoking.

What are the assignment editors thinking? “We need a viewpoint on what to do about our jobs leaving upstate. Hey, let’s call the woman who represents the corporations that sent tens of thousands of our jobs overseas. She will have some good advice about what Albany should do!”
