New Photos, New Album

I decided that, since I’d just put up the new section of the website, I might as well go out and get some new photos. So yesterday, I drove around the city and took some pictures, and between yesterday and today, I’ve narrowed down the crop of 138 pictures to twenty I wanted to post.

I created a new album entitled “Rochester” for the photos to go in since they are none of them fit for anything other that this broad-based categorization. I’m very proud of them and will be glad to throw more in as I go, but I thought this would be a good start.

They vary fairly widely in mood. There are some from a series (of which only two made the cut) called “Potemkin Rochester,” which show the back sides of billboards and buildings whose Main St. facades look much, much better. Others are still life photography of flowers in a box outside of Alexandria’s Greek restaurant. Others are skyline shots where I was playing around with light and exposure.

Hope you enjoy them. Comment on the ones you like, please!!

I love these photos!!!! You become a better photographer each time you pick up the camera. I think you’ve gotten some unique perspectives of Rochester that I would not have though to photograph = )
