Frank Rich Comes Down Hard

Ooh, snap.

Frank Rich paints a not-so-friendly post mortem picture of the Clinton campaign which hits awfully close to the mark on about every point.

And what the hell, as long as we’re in a mood to pile on, let me expand on his take of her sullenness about the “unfair” media.  I don’t think that there’s any question that Hillary Clinton has a lot more history with the media and there has therefore been established a much more rigid take on who she is.  The funny thing is, it was precisely this difference that she was running on just a few months ago: the vaunted “Inevitability Factor,” which could have only come at the behest of the media.

Yet she now claims that the media’s being unfair to her.  As I’ve recently pointed out, her and her husband’s insistence on picking fights with and taunting the media is probably the single biggest flaw in her campaign.  Its never good to shoot the messenger, especially in a way that won’t kill him and definitely not before he delivers your message!  But more importantly, if you began this quest in the full knowledge that the media was your enemy and never worked on a better countermeasure than whining about their unfairness, I am to say the least disinclined to put you in charge of our nation’s military.
