Lurita Doan describes her firing from the GSA office as having been because she was a “distrction.” It could be the distraction of having violated the Hatch Act, and therefore having committed a crime. Or it could be the fiery, irrepressible sexuality which has become a hallmark of her public persona. Only history can know for sure. . .
