Inflation: We Don’t Want it, We Just Need It

Felix Salmon has a great post on why a little bit of inflation – even quite a lot of inflation – would be a good thing for the world economy. Bottom line: we’re not paying for the stuff we use. How ironic is it that our wages have stagnated and instead, we’re being force-fed cheap shit at unsustainable prices as a consolation prize? Walmart supports our degraded lifestyles.
